Kizz Daniel was born into a middle-class family in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State. He developed a strong interest in music at a young age and began performing at an early age. Though music was always his passion, his parents insisted he pursue education first.
He attended Abeokuta Grammar School and later graduated in 2013 from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) with a degree in Water Resources Management and Agrometeorology.
Kizz Daniel began his music career in 2013 after signing with G-Worldwide Entertainment. In 2014, he released his debut single “Woju”, which became a massive hit across Nigeria and West Africa.
The success of “Woju” earned him multiple award nominations and established him as one of Nigeria’s most promising young artists.
