Fubara Unconditional Surrender Exhibits Cowardice – Abati Slams Rivers Governor After Reconciliation With Wike

Journalists, Reuben Abati and Rufai Oseni, have shared their thoughts on the recent reconciliation between the suspended governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike.

Recall that Wike and Fubara have openly declared that they had settled their rift after visiting Leader Bola Tinubu on Thursday night.

“We have all agreed to work together with the governor, and the governor additionally agreed to work together with all of us.

We are members of the same political family,” Wike stated.

Naija Report reports that the duo have been having a face-off for several months.

To prevent the crisis from spiralling into a full-blown protection challenge, Tinubu declared a state of emergency in Rivers State and appointed a retired Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas as Sole Administrator.

Addressing on the situation on Arise Report’ the Morning Show, on Friday, Abati opined that Fubara bowing to pressure demonstrates his cowardice.

At the same time, Rufai insisted that the fight between the two men was about the state’s resources.

Rufai stated: “In the initially place, the fight is about the state’s resources, now they have been able to arm-twist Fubara.” On his part, Abati added: “What Fubara did was an unconditional surrender to exhibit his cowardice.
